Shangri-La Group proudly introduces Shangri-La Signatures, a new ultra-luxury brand reimagining Asian hospitality through cultural authenticity, artisanal design, and emotional connection.

The brand’s debut property, The Silk Lakehouse, Shangri-La Hangzhou, opens its doors on the tranquil shores of UNESCO-listed West Lake.
Designed as a refined private residence, The Silk Lakehouse draws inspiration from the elegance of a Jiangnan silk merchant’s home.
Conceived by renowned designers Gert Voorjans and Lázaro Rosa-Violán, the property blends Eastern heritage with contemporary sophistication.

Highlights include a crystal art installation of 1,930 Murano glass pieces and the restored Autumn in Yandang Mountain Ou sculpture, a nod to the site’s legacy as the former Xiling Hotel.
With just 68 beautifully appointed rooms and suites, the hotel offers sweeping lake or garden views, intuitive comforts, and a bespoke Personal Host Programme tailored to each guest.

Experiences include Song Dynasty tea ceremonies, silk weaving, incense-making, and in-room mindfulness rituals. A grotto-style pool, yoga, and Tai Chi complete the wellness offering.
