Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of an agreement for its latest and most ambitious project to date: Bvlgari Resort & Mansions Abu Dhabi, slated to open in 2030.

Positioned on a private horseshoe-shaped island, the development will redefine luxury living in the UAE capital, offering unparalleled privacy, exclusivity, and refinement.

Surrounded by open sea views and with sightlines stretching towards the majestic Qasr Al Watan and Abu Dhabi’s shimmering skyline, the destination will serve as a tranquil sanctuary just moments from the city centre.

Accessed by a dedicated bridge or by sea, the resort is designed to feel entirely secluded; an island retreat with effortless connection.

At the heart of the project is an ultra-luxury resort comprising 60 elegantly designed rooms and suites, including two signature Bvlgari Suites and a spectacular Penthouse.

Complementing this will be 30 private beachfront villas, each with its pool and view over the sea, the inner cove, or the capital’s skyline.

A centrepiece of the hospitality offering will be the 1,200 sqm five-bedroom Bvlgari Villa, which sits within its own private parkland and boasts direct beach access and a 20-metre pool.

In true Bvlgari style, guests and residents will enjoy a rich selection of lifestyle and dining experiences.

The resort will feature Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, led by the acclaimed three-Michelin-starred chef; the exclusive Japanese concept Hōseki; a refined Turkish restaurant; the relaxed beachfront La Spiaggia; and the lively Bvlgari Bar.

The brand’s signature Il Caffè and Bvlgari Dolci boutique will also be present, along with La Galleria, a concept store curated with pieces from global and local designers.

The 2,000 sqm Bvlgari Spa will offer world-class wellness and beauty treatments, complete with a 25-metre lap pool, an expansive 1,000 sqm fitness centre, and an outdoor deck with uninterrupted sea views.

A dedicated Yacht Club, with a 40-berth marina and private beach, will serve as both a destination and launchpad for marine experiences, accessible exclusively to residents and members.

Beyond the resort, the project includes 90 ultra-luxury mansions ranging from 1,650 to 2,500 sqm. Eight of these residences will feature private beaches, and a selection will have docks for yachts up to 25 metres.

The architectural design by Milanese firm ACPV ARCHITECTS, Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel, will blend contemporary international lines with regional character.

Landscape design by LAND SRL will transition from sculptural forms to natural contours, honouring both Italian artistry and Arabian tradition.

The project is developed in collaboration with Eagle Hills, the private real estate firm founded by Mohamed Alabbar, whose vision has shaped landmark developments across the globe, including Downtown Dubai and Belgrade Waterfront.

“This project pays tribute to Abu Dhabi’s cultural richness while setting new standards in haute hospitality,” said Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bvlgari.
