The Phantom Wears Lace
Phantom Dentelle is a one-of-a-kind Rolls-Royce inspired by couture lace and commissioned as a deeply personal gift to a father.

There are moments when a car becomes an heirloom, a gesture, a whisper of affection made real. Phantom Dentelle is precisely that. A singular expression of love, imagined by a Middle Eastern patron as an extraordinary gift for their father.
At the heart of this creation is an unexpected muse: a length of exquisite lace, woven by a rare Leavers loom, traditionally reserved for the world’s most luxurious couture houses.

Soft, sculptural and impossibly intricate, the fabric became the design narrative that threads its way through Phantom Dentelle, from the subtle shimmer of its embroidery to the delicate elegance of its exterior silhouette.
Rolls-Royce designers did not imitate the lace. They translated it, thread by thread, stitch by stitch, into over 160,000 embroidered moments that now grace the full-width Gallery across the dashboard.

Using no fewer than eight advanced embroidery techniques, the design captures the texture of petals, the structure of fern leaves and the translucent delicacy of fine mesh.
The colour palette? A graceful blend of Rose Gold, Sunrise and Oatmeal threads, artfully layered to reflect the softness of silk and the glow of pearl.

This artistry continues beyond the dashboard.
Between the rear seats, the Waterfall features another 70,000 stitches in the same delicate motif, ensuring that every passenger is immersed in this quiet luxury.

Even the speaker grilles are finished in Rose Gold, catching the light as though dipped in evening sun.
Outside, Phantom Dentelle is equally poetic. Its two-tone finish is the epitome of restraint and radiance.
Crystal over Arctic White below, and Crystal over Palais Nemasker Dawn above; a bespoke hue created exclusively for the commissioning client. This upper tone shifts subtly between blush and gold, like the inside of a seashell.

A double coachline in Sunrise is hand-painted with almost calligraphic precision, culminating in a motif of a flowering branch adorned with pearl-like berries. It’s a flourish you might miss at first glance, but for the owner, it is a hidden signature.

The polished 22-inch disc wheels are both assertive and elegant, with Arctic White pinstriping that ties into the bodywork.
Crowning the polished grille, the Spirit of Ecstasy appears in Rose Gold, echoing the embroidery inside and completing this vision of rolling sculpture.

Phantom Dentelle was born within the serene confines of Rolls-Royce’s Private Office Dubai, a sanctuary of design and discretion for the world’s most discerning clients.
Here, visions take shape in quiet confidence, with direct access to the marque’s top designers and Bespoke specialists.

“Our clients constantly surprise us,” says Michelle Lusby, designer at Private Office Dubai. “The brief was delicate, romantic, poetic. A piece of lace—something usually worn, now reimagined as a motor car. Phantom Dentelle is truly a couture creation in motion.”
In Phantom Dentelle, Rolls-Royce has created a deeply personal expression of beauty, heritage and love. It is a commission where sentiment meets style, and where luxury speaks not in volume, but in the softness of its details.
This is a memory, stitched in silk, sculpted in steel, and made to last a lifetime.
