SWISS redefines First Class with the Grand Suite, a personal haven among the clouds designed for privacy, space and pure refinement.

Conceived as a private retreat in the sky, the Grand Suite transforms two adjoining First Class suites into a single expansive residence, offering guests the freedom to use the space as a bedroom, a dining room, an office or even a meeting room.
It is, in every sense, a private loft above the clouds, enhanced by the impeccable service and refined details for which SWISS is renowned.
This innovation forms part of the airline’s broader SWISS Senses cabin and service philosophy, designed to create a more personal, more flexible journey for its most discerning passengers.

The Grand Suite is tailored to travellers who value tranquillity, space and discretion, whether they are flying for business or leisure.
It offers an elevated experience that can be shaped entirely around the guest’s wishes, from undisturbed rest to productive work or intimate dining.
A New Dimension of Privacy and Flexibility
By combining two suites and the connecting aisle, the Grand Suite creates an entirely secluded environment with walls reaching over 1.8 metres in height. Couples, families and business travellers can enjoy this sanctuary in complete comfort, free from interruption.

The versatile space adapts effortlessly to its occupants’ needs, whether as a place to sleep, host a meal or focus on work. Every element reflects SWISS’s philosophy of tailoring service to each guest’s pace and preferences, while preserving the sense of ease and refinement that defines First Class.
Heike Birlenbach, Chief Commercial Officer at SWISS, explains: “With the SWISS First Grand Suite, we are extending our First Class portfolio with an offering designed for those who desire absolute privacy and the freedom to shape their own space in flight.”

SWISS remains unique among international carriers in offering First Class across its entire long-haul network.
The Grand Suite will debut in 2026 on the airline’s new Airbus A350s and on progressively refurbished Airbus A330s departing from Switzerland, before being extended to the Boeing 777 fleet.
This new concept complements the current First Class Single Suite and the versatile Suite Plus, which can also be configured for two travellers.
The Grand Suite, accommodating up to three guests, will be exclusively available through the dedicated SWISS First concierge hotline, ensuring a bespoke and seamless booking experience.
