Exceptional Watches at Christie’s Dubai

Christie’s unveils its biannual Watches Online: The Dubai Edit, featuring 129 exceptional timepieces from iconic Swiss maisons and esteemed independent watchmakers. The auction goes live for bidding from April 22 to May 1.

A centerpiece of the sale is Stories in Time: A Collection of Exceptional Watches—45 extraordinary pieces amassed over 30 years by a renowned private collector.

Highlights include rare creations from Greubel Forsey, Ferdinand Berthoud, De Bethune, and Gerald Genta.

These watches, united by impeccable craftsmanship and horological innovation, reflect the highest standards of independent watchmaking.

Leading the sale is a one-of-a-kind Greubel Forsey titanium world time Tourbillon, featuring a rotating globe and UTC display for 24 global cities—engraved “1 of 1,” circa 2023 (Estimate: $150,000–350,000).

Collectors will also find coveted vintage and modern models from Patek Philippe, Rolex, Audemars Piguet, and Vacheron Constantin, with estimates starting at $1,000.

An in-person exhibition will be held at Christie’s Dubai in DIFC from April 22 to May 1. Admission is free.
