Positioned at one of Abu Dhabi’s busiest tourism gateways, the site offers seamless access to the city’s cultural and coastal landmarks, including the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Saadiyat Cultural District and the Corniche.

With over 650,000 visitors arriving annually, it is a strategic hub for next-generation air transport.

This marks the world’s first regulatory framework for hybrid heliports, allowing for shared infrastructure while meeting the highest safety and efficiency standards.

Charging systems and enhanced landing technologies will be integrated into the existing helipad, streamlining operations without the need for new construction.

The project reflects the UAE’s commitment to sustainable innovation and positions the country as a leader in future-ready aviation.

With strong support from Abu Dhabi Aviation, ADIO and Air Synapsis, this development lays the foundation for the commercial launch of air taxi services, ushering in a new era of urban air travel.
